Account- Instances

In the Instances tab of the Quality Clouds Admin Portal, you can oversee the lifecycle of your connected environments. From this central place, admins have the ability to add new instances or orgs, configure them, update their settings, and manage essential features such as tags, connectivity checks, Quality Gates, Peer review or Teams feature.

Additionally, administrators have exclusive control to deactivate instances that are no longer required, ensuring that your environment stays organized and secure.

📋 What you see in the Instances tab #

When you open the Instances tab, each entry provides at-a-glance information about your environments. You will immediately see:

  • Instance name, environment and Status

  • Assigned tags for quick categorization

  • Connectivity Test result

  • Quality Gates status

  • App Version installed

To make navigation easier, the Instances section also includes a set of filters such Description, URL, Project, Tags, Enviroment or Quality Gates. These filters allow admins to quickly search, group, and view instances by selected filter. This functionality improves visibility, streamlines navigation, and makes it easier to manage environments at scale.

From the same view, admins can also perform actions such as editing configurations, scheduling scans, testing connectivity, or deactivating an instance.

🆕 Adding instances and orgs #

Depending on your needs, you may want to connect one or more instances or orgs, which can cover development, integration and production environments.
