Quality Clouds Code Agent is a Now Assist application that brings AI-powered governance to ServiceNow development teams. It is powered by the Quality Clouds MCP server and rule library, which includes more than 900 deterministic governance rules, giving teams visibility into technical debt and best-practice violations across the instance.
Every check is validated against the governance policies your organisation has defined in Quality Clouds, not generic vendor defaults.
Quality Clouds Livecheck Agent #
The Quality Clouds Livecheck Agent checks configuration elements for governance violations and gives developers everything they need to resolve them, directly inside Now Assist.
How it works #
Ask the agent to check a Business Rule, Script Include, Flow, or any other configuration element by name or sys_id. The agent submits it to the Quality Clouds governance engine and returns a structured list of detected issues with severity, description, and recommended resolution.
For each issue, the agent retrieves the relevant Quality Clouds best practice details, including remediation guidance and threshold information where applicable, so developers have full context to fix it themselves.
If a flagged issue isn’t a fix candidate, the agent can also submit a write-off request on your behalf, capturing the reason and a description.
