Where to sign in #

Go to https://norma.qualityclouds.com/, or click Log in from any page that offers it (including the “Already have an account? Log in” link on the sign-up page).

If you’re not signed in, qualityclouds.ai sends you to the sign-up page by default. Click the Log in link near the bottom of the sign-up page to switch to the sign-in page.

Sign in with a social provider #

At the top of the sign-in page, three buttons let you sign in with the identity you signed up with:

  • Continue with Google
  • Continue with GitHub
  • Continue with Bitbucket

Click the one you used at signup. You’ll be sent to that provider — if you’re already logged in there, the round-trip is instant and you’re back in Norma. Otherwise, sign in to the provider first, then approve the return.

You’ll land wherever you were last, or on the Repositories page if this is a fresh session.

Sign in with email and password #

Below the social buttons, separated by an or divider, the email/password sign-in form has:

  1. An Email field — enter the email you used when you signed up.
  2. A Password field — enter your Norma password. The eye icon at the right of the field toggles password visibility.
  3. A Log in button — submit the form.

Optional controls next to the form:

  • Remember me — if shown, keeps you signed in on this device for longer between sessions.
  • Forgot password? — click this if you can’t remember your password. See below.

If the email or password is wrong, a red banner appears above the form: “Invalid email or password. The credentials you entered are incorrect. Please try again.” Retry with the correct credentials; there’s no lockout for a small number of failed attempts, but a very high number will trigger our platform’s brute-force protection.

I forgot my password #

Only applicable to email/password accounts. Social accounts don’t have a Norma password.

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Norma account.
  3. Click Send reset link.
  4. Check your inbox. The email contains a one-time reset link — click it to open the reset page.
  5. Choose a new password, confirm it, and submit.
  6. You’re taken back to the sign-in page. Log in with your new password.

The reset link expires after a short time (typically 30 minutes) for security. If it expires before you use it, just request another one — there’s no limit on how many resets you can request.

If the reset email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, contact support with the email address you’re trying to reset.

Switching identities #

You can only be signed in as one identity at a time on a given browser session. To switch:

  1. Sign out from your current session (avatar → Log out).
  2. Sign back in with the other identity.

Accounts on different sign-in methods are treated as separate — an email/password account with you@company.com and a Google account with the same address are two different Norma accounts and hold two different workspaces. This is by design; account linking across identities is not available in this release.

Signing out #

Open the user menu (your avatar in the top-right of the app) and click Log out. Your session is cleared and you’re returned to the sign-in page. Any Remember-me cookie is also invalidated.

Frequently asked questions #

Which method should I use to sign in? #

Whichever you used to sign up. If you signed up with GitHub, sign in with GitHub. If you signed up with email and password, sign in with email and password. Mixing methods gives you access to a different account, not the one you already set up.

I don’t remember which method I signed up with. #

Try each social provider first — they’ll show your existing session on the provider’s side, which is a clue. If nothing works, try the email/password form. Still stuck? Contact support with the email address you expect to be tied to the account.

Do I need to verify my email on first sign-in? #

Depends on your realm’s configuration. Most email/password accounts require email verification once — you’ll see a “Verify your email” prompt on your first sign-in, with a link that was sent to your inbox. Social accounts skip this step because the provider has already verified the email.

Can I stay signed in permanently? #

The Remember me checkbox (when shown) extends your session’s lifetime, but Norma follows the platform’s default session policy — very long-lived sessions require you to sign in again periodically for security.

I keep getting “Invalid email or password” but I know it’s correct. #

Double-check you’re on the right method — an email/password sign-in with a social account’s email will fail because that account has no password. If you signed up with GitHub, use the GitHub button, not the email form.

Where do I change my password? #

Once signed in with an email/password account, open Organisation Settings → Account → Change password. You’ll need to enter your current password to confirm the change.
